Here's a posting from slashdot that should get one thinking:
And by extension, how can we ever be certain there are NO backdoors in some of the most popular closed-source OS's, Browsers, and Apps available -- even if they're freeware. For instance, what about Google Chrome? "Do no evil" may be their slogan but how will we ever know?
